Flying Music - Shows from 2008 - The Solid Silver 60s Show

The UK’s original and premier 60s show is back once again!

THE SOLID SILVER 60S SHOW, now in its 23rd year brings together the unforgettable talents of GERRY & THE PACEMAKERS, SWINGING BLUE JEANS, DAVE BERRY and very special guests DAVE DEE, DOZY BEAKY MICK AND TICH!

One of the top Liverpool beat groups of the early 1960s, GERRY AND THE PACEMAKERS were part of the legendary "British Invasion" of 1964. They were the first band ever to have three consecutive number one UK hits in 1963, "How Do You Do It", "I Like It", and "You'll Never Walk Alone". Gerry and the pacemakers are still hot favourites 40 years on!

The SWINGING BLUE JEANS were one of the strongest of the Liverpool bands from the '60s British Invasion. Their classics hits “Hippy Hippy Shake”, “Good Golly Miss Molly”, “Don’t Make Me Over” and “It’s Too Late Now” propelled them super stardom!

British rock'n'roll has had many memorable figures over the years and DAVE BERRY is one of them. Over 40 years since his first hit, Dave is still performing his classic hits, The Crying Game, Little Things, and Memphis Tennessee to full houses all over world.

Completing this impressive line up are DAVE DEE, DOZY, BEAKY, MICK AND TICH, one of the UK’s top pop bands of the mid-1960s. The group scored many top ten UK hits with songs like “Hold Tight“, “Bend It“, “Zabadak“, and the chart-topper, “Legend of Xanadu”
