Flying Music - Shows from 2007 - Marty Wilde

Singer, songwriter, legend – Marty Wilde, will celebrate his 50th anniversary in the music business with a brand new show with his long standing band, The Wildcats and a new album on Universal records, “Born to Rock N’ Roll – The Greatest Hits” including re-recorded classics, a duet with daughter Kim and many more!

MARTY WILDE was one of the first original British Rock ‘Roll pioneers and between 1958 and 1962 he had thirteen consecutive hit records staying in the charts for a total if 117 weeks. Still going strong Marty Wilde intends to tour for as long as humanly possible with a show that has become very much a part of his life featuring all hi hits including Teenager In Love, Endless Sleep, Donna, Bad Boy, Sea Of Love and many more!

Marty also enjoyed other success as a songwriter in the late 60s and early 70s, penning hits for Lulu (I’m A Tiger), The Causals (Jesamine) and the mighty Status Quo (Ice In The Sun). The 80s, saw Wilde continue writing, this time for his daughter Kim, who enjoyed a string of successful hits both in the UK and abroad, with anthems such as Kids In America.
