Halloween Variety Children’s Visit

Posted in News, Thriller Live on 31 Oct, 2012

On 31st October, 41 pupils from Holmleigh Primary School, Stamford Hill, Hackney, were invited for a day of chills, thrills and treats at the Lyric Theatre, home of Thriller Live. The fun filled day out was organized with Variety, The Children’s Charity.

On the day, the children arrived and were treated to a special exclusive performance by the Thriller Live cast. They had their faces painted as ghouls, vampires and zombies by makeup artists from The Delamar Academy and freelance artist Shaz Imani, and were given a tour of the theatre, including an exclusive look backstage at the cast dressing rooms and costume department. The highlight of the day was when the children were taught how to dance to Michael Jackson’s hit Thriller by the cast.

They performed their routine in front of parents and carers, who erupted into thunderous applause!

A big thank you goes out to all who were involved, especially the Thriller Live cast, makeup artists and theatre staff. The children had a great day out and it was a brilliant way to spend Halloween!
