Halloween at the Lyric Theatre 2012

Posted in News, Thriller Live on 29 Oct, 2012

The Lyric Theatre received a ghoulish, blood-curdling makeover this Halloween when students from West Thames College London and St Charles Catholic Sixth Form College transformed the theatre bars with spooky, chilling themes. Their wonderful displays were in the theatre from Friday 26 October to Sunday 4 November.

Celebrating Halloween and the 30th anniversary of the worldwide release of the iconic Thriller album, staff of the Lyric Theatre, the West End home of Thriller Live, which recreates Michael Jackson’s iconic Thriller zombie hit embraced their inner ghoul, dressing as witches and devils and handing out spooky treats to theatre-goers. Cast members joined in the devilish fun by carving pumpkins that were displayed in the upper circle bar.

What is going to happen when Santa Clause comes to town? The baton is handed over the theatre staff who decorate the theatre each year with Christmas cheer.

Fancy a go? After the last of the tinsel comes down, stored away for another year, cupid draws his bow and love is in the air! If you think your college can decorate our bars fit for Saint Valentine himself, then contact marketing@flyingmusic.com.
